Android developer verification in Indonesia

Audit packages and app-store distribution for Indonesia before Android developer verification enforcement begins.

Operational summary

Indonesia is included in the first regional phase. Multi-store Android distribution makes a package-level inventory more reliable than checking Play Console alone.

Built for: Consumer apps, games, fintech products and third-party stores serving Indonesia.

Recommended sequence

  1. Inventory Play and non-Play store listings available to Indonesian users.
  2. Match every listing to its package name and delivered signing certificate.
  3. Resolve missing registration or mismatched certificate states.
  4. Prepare Indonesian support guidance and track rollout changes.
Field note: An app can be registered correctly in one release workflow while a separately signed store build remains mismatched.

Indonesia multi-store audit

Indonesia can expose gaps when a team maintains several storefront builds. Do not collapse listings into one row because package names, build flavors or certificates may differ by channel.

For each available listing, verify the installed package identity and signing certificate, assign an owner and prepare Indonesian-language support notes. Keep evidence from Play and OEM channels separate.

  • Inventory by storefront and country availability.
  • Inspect channel-specific artifacts.
  • Track the package × certificate result independently.

Frequently asked questions

Why can one store pass while another fails?

A separately built or signed channel artifact can have a different certificate even when the package name is the same.

Can the package-only result detect that?

No. Include the channel artifact's SHA-256 certificate fingerprint to detect a mismatch.
